All receipts must be submitted within 30 days, otherwise they will not be reimbursed. 

Expense Reimbursement Policy:

All expenses should be submitted to the PTO Treasurer for reimbursement.  Expenses must be accompanied by a receipt or supporting documents.  Expenses will not be reimbursed unless proper support is received. 

The Meramec PTO is a tax-exempt organization.  If you require a copy of the sales tax exemption letter, please email Meramec Co-Treasurer's Nikki Freyman and Matthew Lourie.  The letter should be used for all purchases.  The Meramec PTO will not reimburse any sales taxes incurred for PTO purchases.

Budget vs Actual Expense Policy:

The PTO Budget is approved by the PTO Board at the beginning of the school year and may be obtained from the PTO Treasurer.  Total expenses for each event must not exceed the total expenses per the board-approved budget.  Please try to obtain advance approval for any expenses that are expected to exceed the budget.  Any excesses must be approved by the PTO Board prior to reimbursement.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Meramec Elementary! To ensure student safety, our district requires annual training and background checks for all volunteers who may have close or unsupervised contact with students. This process helps create a secure environment for our students. Begin the Volunteer Enrollment and Training process.

• Our Funds for Excellence (FEE) supports teacher grants and school events like Snow Cone Day, Class Parties, Movie Night, Field Day, Teacher Appreciation, and Summer Send-Off!
• The first 100 families to donate will receive a Meramec water bottle!
• The grade-level with the most donations by September 30th will win an extra recess!
• Suggested family donation is $125 (all donations are tax deductible)
